“Revolution,” the band that goes beyond Beatlemania, is a worldwide touring show that captures the Beatles with authentic instruments, costumes, a visual impact, sound, and excitement that can only be described as incredible.
Sporting slick, collarless suits, Beatle boots and mop-tops, the four-man group of renowned Beatles impersonators delivers a concert that takes the audience time-traveling through the 1960’s. The concert showcases the Beatles’ greatest hits, featuring music from their historic appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show, their appearance for the Queen of England, and their movies, A Hard Day’s Night and Help!, as well as tracks from their ground-breaking albums like “Rubber Soul,” “Revolver,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Abbey Road,” and more.
Tim Pipper (John Lennon), born and raised in New York city by showbiz parents, was selected by Hollywood casting directors to portray “John” in the E! production of the John Lennon Story and has toured the world for the past decade with Yesterday, Backseat, Beatlemania Live, Imagine, and others.
Jim Neil (Paul McCartney), a native of California, who has impressed fans by his powerful vocal ability, is a talented bass player and recording engineer who runs his own studio. He has performed in many bands in the past. His baby-faced Beatles charm, skill as a sound technician and musicianship make him a great choice for portraying McCartney.
Greg Piper (George Harrison), an outstanding guitarist, has performed with various cast members from the New York cast of Beatlemania. He has been a professional musician, singer, and actor since the age of 11. Piper has toured the world since 1988 portraying the mystical Beatle.
Mike Sarafian completes this quartet by providing the unique, yet undeniable backbeat as the one and only Ringo Starr. Hailed as the best in the business in replicating Starr’s drumming style, Sarafian also toured nationally with such groups as BackBeat, The Fab Four, and Beatlemania Live.
“Revolution” captures the very essence of four young men whose music continues to win the hearts of millions and whose melodies provided the soundtrack for an era. Whether it is performing before an audience of 100,000 or showcasing their talents before a more intimate gathering at a community theatre or private event, being in the show business since early childhood and touring the world as Beatles since 1988, Revolution’s motto is (from the words of their mentors), “A Special Time is Guaranteed for All.” PEACE and LOVE!
Revolution offers a great chance to relive, or to be introduced to, the music of one of the greatest rock and roll groups of all time!
